What to Expect at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest

Before you arrive, your surgeon will provide detailed instructions about your surgery. A representative of Baylor Scott & White will contact you to obtain and confirm necessary personal information.

You will know in advance the estimated cost of the services provided to you since standard fees for most surgical procedures have been established. Included in the estimate are: admissions processing and procedures, pre-anesthesia, examination, pre-op, operating and recovery rooms, medications and medical supplies required to provide care during your stay. Costs that are not included include professional fees for services provided by the surgeon, anesthesiologist and the pathologist.
